Park for Free (if you bike) at Our Brighter Ideas Bike Corrals
In 2009, long-time Minnesota Bicycle Festival sponsor, Great River Energy, focuses its attention on conservation. So come on out to the Nature Valley Grand Prix, but please…leave your car, van or SUV at home and bike to the various stages of this year’s race. Saving energy doesn't have to be complicated. The Brighter Ideas campaign is a natural fit with the festival’s goal to be an eco-friendly event.
Families, individuals and area bike club groups who choose to bike to the festival in Saint Paul, Cannon Falls, Minneapolis, Mankato or Stillwater will be able to park their bike (for free!) in the Brighter Ideas Bike Corrals waiting for them. These bike corrals are fully staffed and secure to ensure a safe place to park your bike while watching the Nature Valley Grand Prix.
The Brighter Ideas Bike Corrals are also easy to find. Just look for the Brighter Ideas logo at each of the following 
locations:
- Downtown Saint Paul Criterium: Corner of Wacouta and 6th Street
- Cannon Falls Road Race: Expo
- Minneapolis Uptown Criterium: Corner of Hennepin Ave. and 31st Street
- Mankato Road Race: Expo
- Stillwater Criterium: Expo
Simply pedal up to the Brighter Ideas Bike Corral entrance and trade your bike for a claim check. When you return for your bike, be sure to have your claim check handy to show our friendly bike corral attendants and you’ll quickly get your bike back.
